Knockan Hill park is a natural area that straddles the Saanich and View Royal municipal boundaries on the outskirts of Victoria B.C. The park covers about 12 hectares of Garry Oak woodlands, rocky outcrops and Douglas-fir forest. Knockan Hill is home to a wide range of birds, butterflies, blacktailed deer and is a favourite destination for neighbourhood kids and dogs. Though the majority of the park is natural, Stranton Lodge (aka the gingerbread house!), a designated heritage property and gardens is located at the Burnside Road entrance to the park.
This website is hosted by the Friends of Knockan Hill Park Society, a group of friends and neighbours dedicated to the park's conservation. We hope this site will encourage you to come visit the park!
